My Reflection

This term we are reading The City of Ember.

Our task was to go onto Tagul the website  and write everything we know about Ember.

I found this tricky because I have already watched the movie and I wasn't aloud to spoil it.

Other then that I found this task easy because I listened carefully to the story for extra detail I didn't get in the movie. I think I did well because I added everything I knew about The City of Ember.

Next time I'll try put more interesting words in there so you get more detail about the story.  

Multiplication Strategy

Reflection

I was learning to solve multiplication strategy using doubling and halving strategy , multiplication strategy and  place value strategy.

I think my best strategy was doubling and halving strategy because I think It is the clearest one.

I think my second best one was the place value one but I don't think it was as clear.

My next step is to make it more louder so you could here me better.

Writing Sentences in a Variety of Ways.

My Reflection.

I was learning how to write interesting sentences using add ons, lead ins, in-betweens and mains.

I found this work easy because I knew how to write about it and put add ons, lead ins, in-betweens and mains in my writing.  Next time I do this work I will try add more detail in

my writing.

Little Red Ridding Hood Compressing Map.

Reflection.

I was learning to compare Roald Dahl version of little red riding hood  compared to the original

little red riding hood. I found this work easy because I could remember the two

videos so it was easier to compare them. Next time I want to 

add more interesting words for there character.  

Diamante Poem

My reflection

I was learning to write a Diamante poem. I found this work tricky because 

I didn't know what words to use to describe a daffodil.

Next time I want to try to use more describing words. 

My Volcano Art

My Reflection.

This evidence shows my volcano art we did.  I found this work easy because I knew what shape and

size I wanted my volcano to be. My favourite part was the sponge painting because all

we needed to do was get a sponge dip it in the paint and tap it all over the paper.

The next time I do this sort of art I will try to make the drag painting 

part combine the colours more.
